Healthcare Access Project exists to bridge the gap between private practice and public service, helping providers create nonprofit organizations that expand care access while qualifying for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
The result: more providers serving underserved communities, more patients receiving care, and more professionals freed from the burden of educational debt.
Where We're Going
We envision a healthcare system where every community has access to affordable care, and every provider can practice without the weight of crushing student debt.
By helping providers form 501(c)(3) nonprofits, we're creating a network of community-focused healthcare organizations that increase access to care in underserved areas across the country.
Since 2016, we've guided over 600 healthcare professionals through this process, facilitating more than $160 million in loan forgiveness. And we're just getting started.
Our Founder
In 2013, I was denied a mortgage because of my student loan debt-to-income ratio. I was a practicing chiropractor, making good money, and a bank told me I was too risky to lend to. That rejection sent me on a year-long research mission.
What I found changed everything. I formed my own 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2014, started treating patients who couldn't afford care, and began making qualifying PSLF payments. Ten years later, I had $166,663.04 forgiven. Completely tax-free.
Since 2016, I've helped 600+ healthcare providers do the exact same thing. Not theory. Not advice. Actual nonprofit formation, IRS applications, and PSLF certification. The same process I used, step by step.
